ENGLISH TRANSLATION

Salutations to you who are Mahamaya
The seat of wealth and beauty, the one who is worshiped by Gods
And who has the conch, the wheel and mace in Her hands
Salutations to You Shri Nirmala Devi!

Salutations to you who rides Garuda (the eagle)
Who creates terror in the demon kola
The Goddess removing all sins
Salutations to you Shri Nirmala Devi!

Salutations to you who are omniscient
who gives all the boons
Who is terror to all the wicked
And who is the Goddess removing all sufferings
O Shri Mahalakshmi, salutations to you!

Salutations to the Goddess who gives
fulfillment and intelligence
Who gives enjoyment and salvation
And who is mantra personified
O Shri Mahalakshmi, Salutations to you

Salutations to you who have no beginning and no end
Who is the adi Shakti (primordial Divine Power)
And the great Goddess born of Yoga
Salutations to You Shri Nirmala Devi!

Salutations to you who are subtle, solid and very fierce
Almighty and with a big belly
And who removes great sins
Salutations to you Shri Nirmala Devi!

Salutations to you who are seated on the lotus
Who is in the form of Parabrahma
Who is the greatest controller
the Mother of the universe
O Shri Mahalakshmi, Salutations to you!

Salutations to you who are clad in white robes
Who is adorned with various ornaments
Who exist everywhere in the universe
as the Mother of the universe
O Shri Mahalakshmi, Salutations to You!

Shri Nirmala’s eight stanzas of this holy poem
Any person who in devotion so recites
Receives all the special powers
And always gains the kingdom
Whosoever recites this poem daily once
All their greatest of sins are destroyed
Whosoever recites this poem daily twice
Receives money and grain (food) in plentiful
Whosoever recites this poem daily thrice
All their greatest enemies are destroyed
One who is always devoted to Shri Nirmala Devi
With that person she is pleased and grants auspicious boons
